Many HD cameras allow shooting at higher frame rates with 50 or 60 frames per second (fps). Placed in a 25 fps timeline it provides great slow mo - the same principal as film. These shots were filmed at 60 fps on the vari-cam. Check out the reel.

In Production : We are currently preparing to hit the road with a brand new series called 'Coasters' It will be shot in HD and will take Peter around the coast of New Zealand.

Awards Time: Last week Peter won Best Camera in Documentary/ Factual at the Qantas Film & Television Awards for his work on Hunger for the Wild, which also won best Information/Lifestyle Programme.

Recently Oktobor were looking for a couple of landscapes for an animated DeWinkel Yoghurt TVC. A quick search on our site, one phone call and a couple of hours later they had the hi-res versions via FTP. View Commercial.
